Brooklyn Botanical GardenJuly 2008
Cherry Blossom Time. It's fun to experience a bit of spring in the east. The fresh green leaves; tulips and daffodils; flowers of dogwood and magnolias; and rows of cherry trees covered with pink flowers reflected in the lake and drifting across walks.

Although beautiful, the cherry blossoms are not as pervasive as our palo verde blossoms lining miles of streets and covering acres of desert!

Brooklyn Botanical Garden has many areas of interest: a children's adventure garden; conservatories; oriental garden; rose garden; native habitat; various collections; cafe and a well-stocked shop.
