|Located in North Scottsdale, the proposed Desert Greenbelt was a 24-mile Regional Flood Control project consisting of one man-made channel and two major washes. This project included significant portions of a planned regional path and trail system with connections to the Sun Circle Trail and others in the McDowell Mountains. The paths and trails provide opportunities for equestrian and pedestrian passive recreation and intimate views of Sonoran Desert wildlife and flora.|
